ENTRY FEES
This year we are offering our reduced entry fee to members of any MTBNZ affiliated club. If you are not a member of the Manawatū MTB Club or your local club please join now and enjoy the reduced entry fee.
Members of any MTBNZ Affiliated Club: Under 19 - $20, Adult - $40, Families - $100
Non-Members: Under 19 - $30, Adult - $50, Families - $120

PRIZE MONEY
For those at the pointy end of the race we have $250 and a trophy for the King and the Queen of Arapuke and $250 for the first EBike, provided you can beat all of the pedal only riders.
For the rest of us there is a great range of spot prizes to be drawn at the conclusion of the race.

GRADES
Kia 37 km Course U19, Senior, Vet 1, Vet 2, Vet 3
Crank It Cycles 26 km Course U17, U19, Senior, Vet 1, Vet 2, Vet 3, Vet 4
Jeep 13 km Course U15 , U17, U19, Senior, Vet 1, Vet 2, Vet 3, Vet 4
Grades are determined by age on December 31st 2024.
Riders younger than Under 19 or older than Vet 3 may enter the 35 km Course by entering U19 or Vet 3 grades.
RULES
The series will generally be run under the rules of the UCI and MTBNZ.
Specific rules that apply include;
* All riders must wear a correctly fitting helmet.
* All repairs must be made by the rider.
* Bike changes are not permitted.
* No headphones to be worn while racing.
* E-Bikes in E-Bike race only.
* Passing Etiquette;
Please use common sense and courtesy when passing and being passed.
We are all sharing the same track with a wide range of speed and skills.
Front rider has right of way but must not unnecessarily impede a faster rider.
Passing rider should call clearly when a passing opportunity arises and it is safe to pass.
When being lapped please move aside for faster riders as soon as possible.
